Starting the week off a little off

Well, so far this week I thought was going to be good, and it still might. On Sunday we took Cassidy to the park and ate lunch. That was a lot of fun. Cassidy loved being outside and enjoyed playing. It was cold though. Anyway, this morning started off not so good...set the house alarm off, always love waking up my neighbors in the five o'clock hour...then driving to work ran over an unidentified animal. The only good part was I think it was the car in front of me that ran over it first. That always CREEPS ME OUT! Anyway, hope everyone has a wonderful day!
I have posted a couple pics of Cassidy that I have taken pretty recently. I am working on some more editing from this weekend picutres and will post those this week...I promise!

Pretty quiet weekend...

Well,
This past weekend was pretty quiet. Friday night Mike, Cassidy and I went to get Mexican food at our favorite resturant, then went home and just hung out. Saturday a little more of the same during the morning, then we went off to Cassidy's Uncle Chris & Aunt Shelli's house. Cas got to see her Aunt Jenny and couisn Jordan too. Chris made WONDERFUL Homemade Quesdillas, and we had a nice time just hanging out. Sunday, I told Mike I wanted to get outside and do something because it was so pretty. I had a genius idea to go have lunch and play at the park. IT WAS SOOOOOO COLD! It was fun at first, Cas really enjoyed it, then she turned to me and sadly said, "Mommy, I am COLD! Can we go?" Even though she had a jacket, I had to agree. We got to the house and hung out the rest of the day. That is all I know for now. Will post more soon!

Valentine's Weekened

Well, today is a holiday for Cas and I...we have been spending a good day together. Cas took a good nap...and I got one too! YEAH!!!! It is always wonderful to be able to relax and have a four day work week. We are meeting one of Cassidy's friend's at Chick-fil-A tonight, should be a lot of fun. Her Mom Patty is so sweet and becoming a really good friend. We enjoy talking to each other and sharing stories of our families, and kids. Well, off to work tomorrow...never a dull moment. Valentine's Day was good. Mike and Cassidy got me a beautiful plant and sweet cards, and a little candy. That is always nice! Well, back to playing with Cas. Take care and have a wonderful evening!

Getting ready for the weekend...

Well, yes I am working, but thought I would write a quick note. Thank Goodness it is FRIDAY! I couldn't stand working another day this week. Not a bad week, but the weather has been beautiful! We don't have many plans for the weekend, have a birthday party tomorrow for one of Cassidy's friends at Build-A-Bear (here we go again)...and other than that not much going on. I am going to work on some scrapbooking, and just hanging out with the family. Hope everyone is well today.

Getting Ready for February

So this was SUPERBOWL weekend...the sad thing is I watched about 3 plays total of the entire game, and didn't even see the commercials! BUT, I had a great time anyway. Mike, Cassidy and I went from having no plans to going to my cousin Chris' house and Cassidy got to see Bailey-Paige (BP), and I got to hang out with Kelly. Chris and Mike played poker with a few of Chris' friends, and had a good time I think. Cassidy is doing great at school and still loving it. We are waiting for Gammy and Poppa's house to be finished, hoping it will be soon. Cas is excited as they will be living two streets behind us, and hopefully we will get to see them more.
